CEO of General Motors Co. (NYSE:GM) Mary Barra will not be standing for re-election to the board of Falls Church-based General Dynamics Corp. (NYSE:GD), according to Tuesday filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Her departure “was not a result of any discontract with the company,” the filings stated.Barra informed General Dynamics of the decision on Monday, with the company’s board nominating Catherine Reynolds, a philanthropist and chairman and CEO of Sterling-based student lending nonprofit EduCap Inc. on Tuesday.

Shareholders will vote for the company’s board at an annual shareholder meeting, slated for May 3. Barra joined the board in March 2011 when she was General Motors’ senior vice president for global product development. She served on both the compensation and nominating and corporate governance committees for her first three years. Over the last three years, she has served on the compensation and finance and benefits plan committees. She was named General Motors’ CEO in January 2014. The stock is going forward its fifty-two week low with 40.20% and lagging behind from its 52-week high price with -2.80%.

Similar, the positive performance for the quarter recorded as 1.00% and for the year was 25.02%, while the YTD performance remained at 7.55%. GM has Average True Range for 14 days of 0.66.

Total Energy Services Inc. (NYSE: TOT) reported recently that, notwithstanding the recently reported increase in the acquisition price payable by Western Energy Services Corp. in relation to the proposed plan of arrangement between Western and Savanna, each of the Savanna shareholders who entered into a support contract with Total Energy in November 2016 has confirmed to Total Energy that it continues to support Total Energy’s offer for the outstanding common shares of Savanna.

In addition, each of the Locked-Up Shareholders has confirmed to Total Energy that it has initiated the process to tender, to the Total Offer, all of the Savanna common shares owned by it, or over which it exercises control or direction. The firm has institutional ownership of 6.50%, while insider ownership included 8.30%. TOT attains analyst recommendation of 2.70 with week’s performance of 2.23%. Investors looking further ahead will note that the Price to next year’s EPS is 23.95%.
